SAE® is a student design competition organized by SAE International (formerly Society of Automotive Engineers). For more than 25 years, Kettering students have applied what they learn in class to research, design, manufacture and develop vehicles including formula cars, clean snowmobiles and off-road vehicles through SAE. Vehicles are entered in an annual competition, where students test their work.
Your gift to SAE allows students to apply textbook theories to real work experiences, gaining essential, applicable skills to complement their classroom education. Employers often look to Kettering's SAE teams for knowledgeable, experienced engineers.
