SAGE, formerly known as Engineers without Borders, is a student-based club at Kettering University that emphasizes improving the quality of life for groups of people through engineering solutions.
Students who participate in SAGE complete volunteering projects in areas of need by implementing unique engineering solutions, allowing them to apply classroom concepts to solve complex, real-world problems. By pairing with a faculty advisor, students work independently while receiving expert guidance. Projects focus on addressing needs such as providing healthy food to communities, including creating a solar powered hoop house in Flint and building a greenhouse on Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
By making a gift to SAGE, you enable Kettering students to uniqely impact people and communities using what they learn at Kettering and Co-op.
